I will be grateful if you can clarify purpose of Human birth.Is it to
clear karma? Or is every human being is born to complete or execute a
role assigned to him or her?
What is the view of the Gita?

God, by showering His grace has blessed us with four things - 1) this
human life, 2) the understanding 3) the means and 4) the capabilities.
These four things have been given to us primarily for the purpose of
realizing the Truth (attaining salvation, God or Self Realization).
A very important point here is that the time, the means, the
understanding and the competencies that we currently have, if we engage
them all in realizing the Truth (God, Self) then perfection
(realization) in human life can be achieved.
We have already been provided all that is needed for God Realization.
And if there is any thing lacking (deficiencies), then God will fulfill
those deficiencies Himself. The kingdom of God is open at all times for
everyone.
It is said in the Ramcharitramanasa - "Kabahu kari karunaa ner dehi; Det is binu hetu sanehi." (Manasa 7:43:3)
In man there is a feeling of uncertainty, how can I realize God?
However, this life, this birth is only for this purpose. There is no
other purpose. Yet deep within us lingers this thought, this subtle
doubt, that are we really capable ?
Are we really worthy? This feeling of unworthiness, is the greatest
obstacle in realizing God. Just like a mother always accepts her child
in her lap, no matter how good or bad he is. The child is ever entitled
to be in his mother's lap. Similarly we are all eligible for God
Realization, no matter what we are.
God says in the Gita "Api chetsuduraachaaro, bhajate maam ananya bhaak
Saadhureva sa mantavyah samyagvyavasitohi saha" (Gita 9:30)
Simply speaking, even if the worst of sinners becomes Mine, he should be
considered a saint, because he is determined to turn towards Me, says
God. Only due to his firm determination. Once this determination is
made, can wrongful actions become obstacles in God Realization? Is God
so very weak that He will be stalled by few actions?
Pay attention to this verse. It is mentioned here that God, is a
well-wisher without any motive, and simply by His grace He has bestowed
this human life on us, so that we can become free from sorrows and
attain Him. The implication here is that God intends for our upliftment,
our benediction. So with a little effort on our part, His intention
will come true.
In summary the purpose of life is to serve others, to realize the truth
(Self) and to believe that God is our very own. It is for these, that
this human life, this human birth has been received.

You Are Here For A Special Purpose
It is in our mind that we have come here (for satsang) and we will go from here.
It should be the same feeling at our homes also. We have come here for
attainment of God, for His love. We are not like animals. Humans have a
special responsibility. We have to do what we have specifically come
here for. We have not come here to stay. We have come here for our
salvation. Human life is received by God's Grace. We have come here and
have to go.
This feeling that we want to stay here is what does not let us do
bhajan. We are not going to stay here permanently and no one knows how
long one is going to stay. There is no fixed time for one to go. You can
go at any time. Do what you have come here for. The rule of the world
is come and go. The separation of the world is constant and the union
with God is constant. Your feeling should be like when you meet a
traveller. Stay here like a manager, not the owner.
Do not forget God. Always remember God. We have come here for a special
job. Always be careful. Always remember God. Your breath is going. Sow
seeds of God's name in it. Like you do not go to the field to rest, you
go to sow seeds. So here also do not waste time - do what you have come
here for. Remember God all the time. Learn how to make your time useful
here. This is a school for making your life fruitful. Two things
specifically for humans - (i) Serving others and
(ii) remembering God. And a better thing is making others remember God.
Apply yourself where there is benefit, and make others apply themselves.
This is what is important in the human life. You do not get this warning
in other lives. Let everyone benefit. This has to be learnt here. No
anger, greed, etc. This is a school for spirituality. Carefulness is
saadhan. Always be aware.
No breath should go waste. If one breath goes without remembering Him,
it is wasted. So always be aware. If you died at that moment - what a
great loss it would be.
All other work is secondary - importance is of this work. Always take
His name. Soldiers are doing various works - but as soon as the bugle is
blown, all are ready. We do not know when the bugle of death will blow -
always be aware - always remember God. He IS. He is ours. Mirabai's
principle is very good - Only God is mine, there is no other. This is
the truth - it is a fact. The one who accepts this is Mirabai.
Body, family, wealth, country, all this will separate. Only God's union is constant.
