Per media reports Mr. L.K.Advani seems upset with BJP President Nitin Gadkari.



It is most likely because Mr. Gadkari's patch up with Narendra Modi - that may hurt Mr. Advani and Ms. Sushma Swaraj's PM dream.


1. Nitin Gadkari is one among us. He talks like  Ordinary people; sings Hindi songs in public meetings. We still appreciate his 'Talwe chat' remarks about Lalu, Mulayam and Mayawati - which is a 100% fact.

Mr. Advani can never speak plain - right from heart like Mr. Gadkari. Mr. Gadkari connects with people and hate to be politically correct ; Mr. Advani had said - Jinah was Secular - just to sound politically correct in Pakistan.

2. Congress Party is a rogue and vengeance seeking party; you can see - how they performed Ravan Leela in Ramlila maidan and had sent Anna Hazare to Tihar Jail.  They run away from digging deeper in to  the amassed Black Money in Swiss Banks and other tax heavens. When Mr. Gadkari said "Terrorist Afzal Guru is son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi" or Congress - he was just speaking our minds.

'Sathe Satheym Samacharet' - Mr. Advani is unfit to handle the crooks of Congress Party. With his record of releasing terrorists as Home Minister, he can't take on Congress Party as a PM Candidate.

3. Mr. Gadkari is flexible. As party President he realized that Narendra Modi has been elevated as a mass leader and liked by millions of Nationalist Hindus. At the same time Ms. Sushma Swaraj is a great orator in Hindi and also fit for PM. But, Mr. Modi's Executive Experience as CM makes him the front runner in the PM race. The job of party president is to win more number of MPs and MLAs no matter what. During last UP elections, he was quick to accept Babu Singh Kushwaha, a corrupt minister from Mayawati's Government. Some people disliked. But, this is India - Lalu , Jayalalitha, Mulayam, Mayawati are still winning elections amid corruption allegations. So, as party president - whatever he did seemed right .

Mr. Advani doesn't get it - this is India where Mohd. Azharuddin gets elected as MP which is unthinkable in any Western Democracy. He is blogging - "The mood within the party these days is not upbeat. The results in Uttar Pradesh, the manner in which the party welcomed BSP Ministers who were removed by Mayawati ji on charges of corruption, the party's handling of Jharkhand and Karnataka - all these events have undermined the party's campaign against corruption."

Narendra Modi is the star campaigner for  BJP. So Mr. Gadkari can't afford to lose him during elections.

4.Mr. Gadkari handled Karnataka very well. Didn't succumb to corrupt BS Yeddyurappa's demand to reinstate him. He also handled well the crisis by Reddy Brothers.

5. Mr. Advani got one thing right. He acknowledged that - "That the party is in power in as many as nine states today". That is what the Party President should be focused.

6. Mr. Advani had said at the Core Group meeting that if people are today angry with the U.P.A. Government, they are also disappointed with us. Again he doesn't get it why people are angry ?

 What Baba Ramdev, Anna Hazare and Dr. Subramanian Swamy achieved, that was BJP's job. BJP failed to ignite public anger outside parliament.The Congress won the fight of PAC (Public Accounts Committee)  in 2G Scam by getting Lalu and Mulayam to its side. Why didn't BJP exposed these leaders. Did BJP talk about Mulayam's support to Congress in 2G scam during last UP elections ? No.

No one knows - what is going on the 2G-JPC probe. Shouldn't the opposition focus on this ?

7. Regional Leaders like Naveen Patnaik didn't respect Advani when he was the PM candidate - but he seems to be respecting Mr. Modi. Except Muslims, Narendra Modi is acceptable to all.  Congress Party and Mulayam are for a Muslim President just to appease Muslim Vote bank. Ms. Jayalalitha and Naveen Patnaik had proven to be smart to approve a tribal candidate like Mr. P.A.Sangma. BJP  - which rules or shares power in 9 states - doesn't have a presidential candidate. Why ? This is the responsibility of leader of parliamentary party.

8.President Pratibha Patil commuted or had forgiven several death row convicts. BJP as opposition didn't question the soft on criminals policy. What Mr. Advani did on this ?

9. When BJP was in power, they didn't bring the National  Unique ID card to check illegal immigration from our borders.Why Mr. Advani did not do this ?

10. Mr. Advani is arrogant ; Mr Gadkari and Mr Modi attended the Bangalore wedding of Mr Yeddyurappa's grand-daughter. Mr Advani did not. BS Yeddyurappa is not yet convicted. Such events are an opportunity for politicians to get along and seek cooperation. Social functions need to be treated differently.
