Today's Supreme Court Judgement on Right to Education doesn't make sense to me because of several unreasonable reasons.
This would sent a bad precedent for Private Industry Sector as well, because there are many Activists, who would file PIL to implement 25% reservation in IT and non-IT sector, where "talent based hiring" has been the sole criteria.
Basically, Supreme Court said -
if you are a private entrepreneur in School Business - Either offer 25% seats to poor students, who can't afford school fees or
quit school business.
This is again not applicable to
minority schools - Muslim and Christian only schools.
So, what these schools will do ?
They will not close down the schools - but they will
pass the 25% free student fee to the
75% paid students.
i.e. if the donation is 75000/- per student - now they have to pay 1 Lakh.
So, what kind of
non-sense judgement is this ?Why the parents of 75% students , who already pay tax to Government, are burdened with this Social Justice or forced Charity ?
if any school has got a specific student:teacher ratio, they have to hire more teachers.
They have to buy more science and other educational kits.
Who will pay for those ?
Any, why minority institutions are left out ?
This is one of the
most outrageous decisions beyond common sense.
Is this punishment for being father of a student or becoming a school owner, who doesn't owe a cent to Government ?
What is your take on this ?
