This is an observation based on reaction to Educated Muslims to many normal and controversial events.
You have right to agree or disagree.
Iran:
Dr. Mustafa Kamal Sherwani,LL.D.is a lawyer from Lucknow, India. He is a great poet as well.
He is proud about the defiance of Iran against the world community and its pursuit of nuclear weapons.
He argues that since US and its powerful allies of West have got
nuclear weapon, they have no rights to tell Iran not to develop nuclear
weapons.
At high level, it would sound logical. But, he wouldn't think
further to understand, why the world is worried about the nuclear
weapons of Pakistan and not India - although both are nuclear powers.
It is because the relatively weaker Islamic countries, who are far
far behind in modern unconventional warfare, jealous and hostile about
the wealth of USA and West, are state sponsors of Terrorism. They think
that - since they can never win in a direct war, they would breed
Islamic Terrorists using their Exclusive Islamic Schools (Madarssas)
and state sponsored Terrorist Training camps, to cause Maximum damage to their perceived enemy in a proxy war. i.e. Pakistan's war against would be fought by LeT and Iran's war against israel and USA would be fought by Hezbollah or Hamas.
After
the first nuclear explosion during world war II, during cold war, the
responsible nuclear powers USA and USSR restrained themselves from using
nuclear weapon and thereafter they advocated - preventing further rapid and excessive spread or increase of nuclear weapons - also termed as nuclear proliferation. Regan-Gorbachev signed treaty to reduce their nuclear warheads.
During a war, weaker countries are most likely to switch to nuclear
mode, if they have one. Pakistan is one of them, who said on record, in a
war with India, it won't follow the 'No first use' policy. I would assume that India would do the same against China, if it feels like losing a war forced upon by China. Usually, except Pakistan, no weaker country would ever attack a stronger country first. Pakistan is a strange exception - born hostility.
Both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers. But, it was Pakistan, who
smuggled nuclear technology to Libya, Iran and North Korea - for money
and later put the blame on Mohsin-e-Pakistan Dr. A.Q.Khan. Dr. A.Q.Khan ,
while working as a scientist with Physics Dynamics
Research Laboratory (FDO) in Amsterdam and later in URENCO, Netherlands
- was given access to the most restricted areas of URENCO facility
as well as to the most restricted and highly classified documentation on
gas centrifuge technology. Dr. Khan improved the Uranium enrichment
technology but at the same time smuggled the drawing and documents to
Pakistan. Once Pakistan became nuclear power, it sold such drawings and
technology to Iran, Libya and North Korea for money.
You may compare that with India, whose nuclear technology is indigenous
and never smuggled out, even though India has got most corrupt
ministers.
Islamic countries can never act responsibly because they had a great
past and once dominated half of the world by Islamic conquest; today,
except oil rich nations, most of the Islamic countries are poor and all
of them lag behind scientific research.
So, jealous about the wealth and prosperity of USA and West, they use
Islamic Terrorists to fight proxy war with their prosperous neighbors or
perceived enemies. Pakistan was hiding world's most wanted man - Osama
Bin Laden; what else proof is required ?
During
cold war US and USSR didn't use nuclear weapons because they knew that -
using that would be a mutual assured destruction. But, Islamic
countries, who believe in fighting proxy wars against USA, West, India,
Israel, using Terrorist Organizations like Lashkar-e-Toyba, Hezbollah,
Hamas, Al-Qaeda, Taliban can supply small sized nuclear weapons to them,
who would smuggle and attack using their infamous suicide squads.
Pakistan depends on US Aid. Since independence around $61.7 billion is
provided by USA.No foreign investments are insight because it is now a
terrorist heaven, thanks to its state sponsored terror policy of
breeding, training and financing terrorists. The day US stops its aid,
they would again smuggle nuclear technology to other oil rich countries
for want of money or aid.
If Iran gets a nuclear weapon, the next day it would give that to
terrorist organizations Hezbollah or Hamas, who would use it against
Israel as "non-state" actor.
As you can see, Pakistan's father of nuclear weapon Mr. A.Q.Khan
smuggled nuclear technology after violating all the secrecy and
non-disclosure agreements of his employer. The world has learnt its
lesson and hence, in America's defense related projects - only US
Citizens with specific level of secret clearance are allowed to work.
Today, Chinese Government has been trying to smuggle all latest
technology from USA.
But apparently Dr. Mustafa Kamal Sherwani, a highly qualified
individual have got a skewed or biased world view because of which he
is unable to see the difference between responsible nuclear powers
US-UK-Germany-India-Australia and Pakistan-Iran-North Korea etc.
Why only Dr. Mustafa Kamal Sherwani, the
US Presidential candidate hopeful Dr. Ron Paul also got a similar world

That said, I would like to conclude that there are two kinds of Educated people with diametrically opposite world views.
1. Educated and ideological - All the Muslims of
this world + US Congressmen Dr. Ron Paul and his young supporters.
Muslims have a common tendency of siding with Muslims irrespective of
their country of birth. e.g. Indian Muslims don't ask Pakistan to return
PoK, silent about Afzal Guru's delay in hanging ; but they demand Israel
to become a secular country, accommodate some Palestinians and return
rest of the lands to Palestine.
2. Educated and Logical -the rest of the world except those counted under 1
