THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT
AND THE STATE GOVERNMENT MUST CONSIDER COMPENSATING THE BIRDFLU HIT POULTRY FARMERS
IN ODISHA
The apparent loss of Rs.200 crore
to the poultry farmers in the state of Odisha has definitely given a jolt to
the individual poultry farmers mutatis-mutandis
poultry farmers are bound to shut down their poultry farming in Odisha for ever.
This is not only going to give an impact upon the individual poultry farmers but also give an impact to the economy of the
state and the centre to some extent.
As we knows, the India's economy as
a whole is dependent upon its agriculture and farming. Interest towards
traditional farming in India day by day is decreasing. People herein has the past
history of farmers suicide. Before anything worst happens to our poultry farmers,
personally I feel the central Government with the state Government must come forward
with a positive attitude and intervene and take necessary steps helping the
individual poultry farmers in Odisha for their revival and continuance to their
traditional poultry farming.
