As you know Golden Quadrilateral Projects are initiated by BJP regime. How it is going under MMS Govt ?

4/6 laning WORK has been
completed in 5829 km (99.7 %). (a) to (c) Out of 5846
km of Golden Quadrilateral (GQ) in the country.
Entire GQ projects is anticipated to be
completed by December 2012. The Progress is being monitored closely by National
Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Head Quarter. Regional offices as well as field units in
orders to speed up the completion of projects .
Periodic review meetings are being held and pending issues are being sorted out
with concerned State Governments. During the last three years and current year
22 projects of GQ were under implementation. NHAI does not allocate Project
wise funds. Expenditure on projects is met out of overall allocation to NHAI.
Expenditure has been incurred in accordance with contract provisions.
