Babari Masjid demands Justice
The biggest attack on the secular fabric of India was on 6th December 1992 when the Hindutva forces demolished the Babri Masjid.
Every year Popular Front of India observes it as Anti-Fascist Day. The Liberhan
Commission submit its report to the Central Government after 17 years, but the
Central Government showed no political will to punish the culprits found guilty
in the report . The verdict by Allahabad High Court in Babri Masjid title suit
dividing the land among three parties added insult to injury. Popular Front
took steps to make people aware of the injustice contained in the judgment.
Fortunately this judgment was later stayed by the higher judiciary.
Popular Front of India has been in the
forefront for the struggle to achieve the much awaited justice for Babri
Masjid. Since our inception we have conducted numerous programmes and campaign
demanding the rebuilding of Babri Masjid and punishing the culprits who demolished
it. Every year on the eve of 6th December we conduct various
programmes and campaigns under the theme “Babri
Masjid – Lest we forget” highlighting the betrayal done to Babri Masjid.
Through such awareness programme we have been successful in taking up this
issue to the common masses who were unaware about the serious of the issue and
the threat it posed to the secular fabric of the country.
In this circumstance, Popular Front of India going to
hold a Dharna at Jantar Mantar on 6th
Dec 2011 at 11am to 02.pm. The programme attended by Chairman Popular Front of
India and other eminent people from Political parties, Human right activists
and lawyers express their views in the programme. We warmly invite the entire
media network including print and visual to highlight this nationwide issue
