Dear fellow Indian:
YSR - the former CM of Andhra was a Christian and always worked against
Hindu interests; most of you must have been aware of. [if not watch the following video ].
Even after his demise it
was perceived that he had served the supreme interests of his big boss
Ms. Sonia Gandhi. Hiding under a Hindu name, he could cause maximum damage
to Hindu community and Hindu interests of the state.
Now, former Rajya Sabha MP Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad went a step
ahead - in his Telugu novel
Draupadi, he has shamelessly portrayed "Draupadi" as a sex maniac
woman with an unquenchable thirst for carnal pleasures. He was selected
by Sahitya Akademi for its prestigious award. What a great reward for
hurting the sentiments of 80 crore Hindus.
I wish he would dare to write a similar book on Prophet Mohammad.
Can he be a practicing Hindu or a non-Hindu under a Hindu name ? He
holds Ph.D in Hindi as well as in Telugu from Andhra University. He
became a Rajya Sabha MP in 1996. He was awarded "Padmashri" in 2003
(Congress Government at Center) for Literature & Education.
Several passionate Hindus went to Human Rights Commission for stopping
that book. But, I don't think that is the point. The fault lies with our
Sahitya Akademi's standard of selection. Such books which are in bad
taste for people of India, even if they are written, should that be even
nominated for an award ? Tamilnadu CM Shri Karunanidhi, a known Hindu
hater and a great writer - he may write a fiction book in which he will
write - Sita was Ram's sister and Lord Ram was a drunkard; there was no
Ram Sethu. He is capable of writing such a book beautifully in Tamil - so should he be selected for an award ?
Worth pondering .. After thousands of years of foreign rule, we formed a
Nation, which is changed to secular by Indira Gandhi without any debate
and without any definition of secularism. In this secular nation,
Hindus are the biggest enemy of Hindus - why blame painter M.F.Hussian ?
YLP portrays Draupadi as having a desire to marry and have sex with Karna and he proudly says - 'I Owe No Apology to Anyone'. May be after writing about 45 books, he is blabbering- "I am a better visionary writer than Maharshi Vyas".
Now that you knew about Maharshi YLP's
Mahabharata Adiparva - let us see what Maharshi Vyas says in Mahabharata Adiparva -
What Hindus believe about Draupadi's previous birth ?
Mahabharata Adiparva Chaitrarathaparva section 171-172Maharshi Vyasa visited Pandavas while they were living in Ekachakra town before the Swaymvara , to tell them once more about their future wife.
In her previous birth, as a maiden she lived in a Rishis hermitage. Due to her past karma,
she couldn't get married in that life. So she did great penance pleasing
Lord Shankara. Bhagvan Shankar, pleased with her Tapasya appeared before her and told
her to ask any boon she wants. She asked him for a husband with various
qualities, repeatedly. Lord Shankara then granted that boon and said,
she will have five husbands from Bharata clan. She said, "Lord, I want
only one husband", to this the Lord said, "You asked for a husband, five
times, hence you will have five husbands in your next life".
Having
narrated the above story, Vyasa then said to Pandavas "Sons, that maiden is reborn as Draupadi to Panchala king, Drupada. She is set aside
as the Queen for all five of you. Go to Panchala and get her as your
wife".
