if that goes, millions will be happy, if posco will be
out, crores will be happy, ours is the land lord jagannath, ideal for
Bhajan and kirtan to keep the environment cool and pollution free, we
have shortage of electricity and drinking water, why should we have
these type of projects, let them go.......jai jagannathDurga P Misra
Dear friends
If Anil
Agarwal’s projects in Orissa appears to be running in to rough weather,
they themselves are to be blamed as they want to push anything and
everything by use of money power. What is wrong in the Attorney
General's endorsement that the environment ministry have full powers to
give or not give clearance to the project.
As
far as land for the Vedanta University is concerned, let us be blunt
and frank, the land that is owned by the lord Jaganath Temple is the
land that has been mostly donated in public cause by the followers of
lord Jagannath. Who is the state to decide on what the temple
authorities should do with the land that has been donated to them? From
where Vedanta comes in to picture? As far as my information goes, the
survey of the land was made by looking at the lands through a
helicopter and the state BJP unit which opposes today were partner to
the game played by Vedanta while they were making aerial survey of the
land to be possessed or to say more bluntly to be grabbed.
I fully support the decision of
the Lok Pal Justice P.K. Patra who has rightly recommended a vigilance
probe against AAF’s land deals, as there are serious doubts that
corrupt practices must have taken place to hand over the land that the
temple authorities have received in trust and not to be played in to
any dirty game, the way Vedanta is in habit to play.
Let
us pray to the almighty lord Jaganath to bring the senses of Vedanta to
order and move as quickly as he can to any other area to grab more land
and spare the precious land on the sea cost that stretches from Puri to
Konarak.
With best wishes
Pravin Patel
