Popular
front of India, a social movement actively functioning in Kerala,
Karnataka and Tamilnadu. Popular front of India stands for the
realization of a new India of equal rights to all Indians where
freedom, justice and security prevail. It aims at the socioeconomic,
culture and political empowerment of the deprived, the down trodden and
the nation at large.
Popular Front of India is organizing National Political Conference at Calicut in Kerala on 13, 14, 15 February 2009. The objective of the conference is to highlight the concept: Positive Politics for Total Empowerment. The Conference puts forth the slogan: Power to People.
The
National Political Conference is an occasion to discuss various ways
and means of achieving political empowerment and adequate
representation to marginalized classes. The first two days of the
conference are meant for seminars and interactive sessions on various
aspects of the theme by scholars and delegates drawn from different
parts of the country. The Conference will conclude with a youth
parade, procession and grand public meeting on the third day.
A nationwide campaign to highlight the theme of the conference is planned. The campaign program has been scheduled on the 01st February, 2009 in the evening at 6.45 pm at the Alma Latifi Hall, M.H. Saboo Siddik College, Byculla, Mumbai-08.
