New Delhi:
August 28: The blast in Kanpur
bomb factory in which an activist of Bajrang Dal was killed while preparing a
bomb is sufficient to claim and substantiate that Hindu terrorist organizations
are involved in terrorism in this country. Milli Council today demanded the
prime minister to form a judicial commission to carry out high level inquiries
into incidents of terrorism without wasting this opportunity and ban unbridled
Hindu extremist organization. These demands were raised in the Press Club.
During his address to the media
in the Press Club, the moving spirit of Milli Council Dr. Manzoor Alam gave
comprehensive details of the incidents of terrorism right from Nandere blast
till date and said the investigation agencies view the incidents of terrorism
from a particular angle and break hell on Muslims by arresting them merely on
the basis of doubts whereas the crime requires that independent inquiries are
conducted into these incidents without any leeway for any religion. Demanding
immediate ban on RSS, Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and other stray
Hindu organization born out of RSS womb, he said several such major incidents
have been unearthed in different parts of the country in which Hindu fascist
groups were involved and several such people have been arrested in connection
with these incidents who had been related with Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal and
similar fascists. Whether it was the incident of Malegaon
or Mumbai or Nandere or some district of Uttar Pradesh, police have arrested
such people related with Bajrang Dal, VHP and RSS who were fascist elements and
most lethal weapons and armaments were recovered from their possession, he
claimed.
Citing Kanpur
incident specifically, Dr. Manzoor said on August 24, 2008, a bomb blast occurred during bomb-making
country-made grenade and a time bomb in a house in Rajiv Nagar falling under
Kalyanpur police station that jolted the entire area besides creating craters
in the roof and the walls whereas the bomb-maker succumbed to death on the
spot. It has also been reported that the police recovered 11 country-made
grenades, 7 time devices, 3 kg of lead oxide, 1 kg of soda and half kg of
explosives and is supposed that if the incident would have not spoiled the
materials, some major destruction could be wrecked on a large scale at any time.
He said the situation requires that government’s secret Agencies should be
alert, honest, and duty-bound even prior to any terrorist incident so that no
untoward incident would occur. However, he continued, if any terrorist incident
occurs, the authorities of concerned police station/s and secret agencies
should held answerable for it and the inquiry must be completed before
unveiling real culprits. Only then the whole exercise should be brought to the
media and with complete honesty, he said. Milli Council also demanded the
government to make all possible efforts to prevent the causes of psychological
torture and anxiety of Muslim community
