NRO, MEMO TO CM ORISSA FOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION ON NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (NIST) BERHAMPUR
Dear Editor,
I have read the article s“N R O MEMO TO C.M ORISSA “published in your website. In my opinion Government of Orissa should take criminal action against the trustees (who are entrusted to look into the local management of the Trust and(Institution) N I S T. As a ex student of NI S T I know very well that N I S T was established as first N R I venture at Berhampur, in fact South Orissa by Dr Sukant Mohapatra. The aim of an NR I(Dr Mohapatra)is going to be ruined .Dr Mohapatra has established the institution in the year 1996. His dream to make nist as a world class institution is really a Nobel idea
As a student I know that Dr. Mohapatra is working as a scientist in U.S.A and he tried to promote, established NI ST with philanthropic object of spreading technical education in Orissa.
Dr. Mohapatra established N I S T at Berhampur and developed the same by investing Cores of Rupees for establishment of NI S T . He also gave huge number of modern equipments for utilization for the students of N I S T ( I am thankful to him ) So Dr.Mohapatra and his wife (The Donor/Author)are the absolute owner of the Trust and N I S T The malafied intention to grab the property of the institute Mudali family have ousted Dr. Mohapatra which is illegal. Can a Founder of a Trust/institution be removed ?
The environment of the institute is being spoiled by the high handed action of Mudali family.
Mudali family came out with their open mind stated their mischief when the institute became self sufficient and avoided the involvement of Dr. Moahaptra (Found of trusty and founder Chairmanship) and remove him from the trust which is illegal and for which Dr. Moahaptra is approaching the Govt. and Courts by filing civil case. But it is the proper time for the Govt. to take immediate criminal action against the Mudali family the protect the institution for the interest of students and public failing which no NRO /NRI will come forward invest in our state.
So in my opinion Orissa Govt. should take immediate criminal action against the Mudalis for the inters of the state so that in future no body will even think for such mischievous things.
